Nines

This one is longer, and a lot more.. improvy than my first post. More rambly, and experimental. Have been playing with chord progression for about a year now.

This was kind of a first foray into add9 territory, really like the tension its got. Resolving back onto a main chord that still wants to resolve is quite the feeling.
Hitting the chords without the add9 at the end was a new addition, kinda fun.

First Post

Well, didn't manage to get an empty room for this, so you can hear stuff going on in the background, but I thought it actually still turned out alright. This is just one take, just throwing it up there. Zero post-production etc.

I tried to have some semblance of composition, building it up a bit, but clearly the part I really love is the cdddcccddcccdddc on octaves, and then filling in the appropriate chords for the progression. That went through my head for weeks and weeks when I first discovered it. It's lost a lot of it's luster because I've heard it so much, so I'd appreciate any feedback if that specific part is actually as epic as I remember it feeling.
